Enable HiDPI mode if you are using a 4k monitor like I do. 3d Acceleration seems to make things faster. You can't drag and drop images from Windows to Bear, but you can drag and drop them to the Desktop then on to Bear.
Copy paste works well enough. I don't have any hangups at all on my 4th gen i7 gtx960 8GB RAM desktop. Enable autoresize the resolution option when you resize the window for a smoother Windows app-like experience.
